Office Manager/Hardware Specialist

High Sierra Custom Door is seeking a motivated team player, who is professional, friendly, and customer service minded to be part of our Truckee showroom/sales office. Our company serves architects, designers, building contractors and homeowners by providing high end custom doors from our manufacturing site in Southeastern Oregon as well as door hardware from multiple vendors sold through the Truckee sales office. We are a small office of 4 people, but part of a company of about 100 employees, most of whom work in our manufacturing plant in Lakeview, Oregon.  Our office is friendly, team oriented, and supportive.  We desire to find a person who will add to that culture.

Requirements:

• Friendly demeanor with a desire to help people.
• Able to multi-task to follow detailed processes, while dealing with interruptions of customers, teammates and phone calls.
• Computer skills and experience in business applications such as MS Excel and QuickBooks.
• Available for full-time, in-office work. 
• Team oriented and willingness to help wherever needed.
• Ability to learn quickly and retain knowledge about doors and hardware.

Job Responsibilities and Description:

• Provide quality and professional reception and customer support in the office.
• Answer phones, greet customers, continuously find ways to enhance our customer service experience.
• Represent the High Sierra Custom Door brand to people walking into our showroom and as the initial voice of people calling our office.
• Become the office expert in door hardware.
• Work closely with our vendor reps to gain knowledge and answer questions
• Interact with customers and our sales team to understand hardware needs and provide customers with solutions.
• Support the Sales Team to help them expand sales of doors and hardware.
• You are a valuable part of our small team.
• Own the operations processes of creating hardware estimates, purchasing, receiving, invoicing and servicing hardware returns.
• Understand the accounting and help to develop and support processes that improve inventory management, efficiency, and quality customer service.

Compensation:

• Base pay starting at $25-$30 per hour
